Woodsman designs kitchens, installs cabinets, cuts quartz and granite countertops in its own Jacksonville shop and lays new floors. Since 2023 the company has been 100% owned by its employees.
Woodsman Kitchens & Floors has offered kitchen remodeling in Jacksonville since 1983, starting as a small cabinetry supplier on the First Coast. The company is not a full-service general contractor. It focuses on design, cabinets, countertops and flooring, and it does those parts itself.
Quartz and granite tops are cut and polished in the company's own Jacksonville warehouse, which keeps quality and lead times in local hands. In September 2023 the business became 100% employee-owned, so the designer, the fabricator and the installer in your home are all part owners. The goal is a custom-looking kitchen without a custom price tag.
In-house designers plan your layout and cabinets, pair countertops with backsplashes, coordinate flooring and help choose colors. The service also covers bathrooms, laundry rooms and new builds. Design support is included when you choose products through Woodsman, with no third parties or commissions.
Cabinet lines include Shiloh, Aristokraft, Eclipse, Diamond Vibe and Kitchen Craft, in custom and budget-friendly options. Installers tear out old cabinets, then set kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and built-ins level and aligned, working hand in hand with the designers who drew the plan.
Woodsman offers quartz and granite only, measured, cut and polished at its local fabrication facility and installed by its own team. Keeping fabrication in-house gives the company control over quality and scheduling, which makes the countertop install smoother and lead times more consistent.
Hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate and tile for kitchens and living spaces, chosen from the showroom displays and installed by the same company that builds your kitchen. Matching floors to the cabinets and counters is part of the design work, so the whole room is planned together.
Bathroom remodeling and vanities with the same cabinet lines, quartz and granite tops and design help used in kitchens. Finished projects include a primary bath in Julington Creek, a bathroom refresh in Ponte Vedra Beach and coastal baths with built-ins in Atlantic Beach.
Since September 2023 the company has been 100% employee-owned through an ESOP. The people designing, cutting and installing your kitchen are owners with a stake in getting it right.
Quartz and granite slabs are fabricated in the company's own local warehouse, not shipped out. That gives Woodsman direct control of quality and keeps lead times consistent.
In-house designers guide every selection, and their support is included when you buy your products through Woodsman. The company promises prices below big box stores on expert design and quality materials.
Google reviewers praise service techs like Joel, Jimi and Curtis for arriving on time, wearing shoe covers, and showing owners how to care for their cabinets after the job.
Woodsman began in Jacksonville in 1983 as a small cabinetry supplier and grew into one of Northeast Florida's known names in kitchens, baths and flooring, with more than 200,000 jobs completed. In September 2023 it became 100% employee-owned.
Brad Mangold serves as president and Ira Cloud as vice president, and designers such as Ann-Marie Kallio, with the company since 2014, guide clients through selections. Woodsman belongs to the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, the Northeast Florida Builders Association, the Florida Home Builders Association and the NAHB, and local builders rely on it too.

Had some detail work performed by Jimi with the support of Curtis. It was perfect. In general, love folks who treat our property with respect (booties for shoes or simply off) and who have a great attention to detail.
Joel did a great job fixing our cabinets! He was friendly, professional, and took the time to share helpful tips and tricks for caring for them. We really appreciated his attention to detail and excellent service. Highly recommend!

No. Woodsman says plainly that it is not a full-service general contractor. It handles kitchen design and layout, cabinet installation and tear-outs, quartz and granite fabrication and installation, and flooring. That covers everything from a cabinet-only upgrade to a complete kitchen transformation within that scope.
Woodsman offers quartz and granite only, and many tops are fabricated locally in the company's Jacksonville warehouse. Cutting and polishing slabs in-house lets the team control quality and keep lead times consistent, and the fabricators work directly with the designers and installers on your job.

You work directly with in-house designers, not third parties paid on commission, and they help with layout, cabinet style, countertop and backsplash pairing, flooring and color selection for kitchens, baths and laundry rooms.
